This subject runs within two major programmes, combined honours in the centre of Manchester and joint honours at MMU Crew Cheshire. Lecturing to undergraduates on the BA and BA (hons) combined awards programme and supervising postgraduate student on their PhD programme. Secretary: Jane Bates, Manchester Metropolitan University Treasurer: David Smith is Head of Education Studies at Liverpool Hope University. Membership: Gwenan Williams, University of Bangor Stephen Ward : Stephen Ward is Dean of the School of Education at Bath Spa University. He is the editor of Education Studies: A student's Guide (Routledge). His doctoral thesis is Education Studies as an emerging university subject. Steve Bartlett : Steve Bartlett is professor of Education Studies at Wolverhampton University. His academic interests lie in Education Studies and practitioner research and he has written widely in these areas. Les Hankin: Les Hankin is Associate Director - Widening Participation and Lecturer in Education Studies John Sharp: John Sharp is Professor of Education at Bishop Grosseteste University College Lincoln. He is also leader of the three year BA/BSC (Hons) Education and Subject Studies degree programme, the largest programme in the College's portfolio. Derek Kassem: Derek Kassem, Liverpool John Moores University Emmanuel Mufti : Emmanuel Mufti, Liverpool John Moores University Bob Waugh: Bob Waugh, Oxford Brookes University Yvonne Hill: Yvonne Hill, University of Keele Daphne Evans: Daphne Evans, PhD, C.Psychol is Senior Lecturer at Trinity College Carmarthen. Daphne runs a wide range of Psychology modules within the Education Studies programmes.
